Janus la Cour has positioned himself in the rocky landscape at the Coast of Sorrento, from where he has a view across the light blue waters of the Bay of Naples and the soft contours of the distant mountains. Italy remained la Cour’s favorite travel destination. While he appreciated the charm of the villages and local life, his artistic focus consistently led him to the remote areas near Rome and Naples, in search of unspoiled nature.
