Current special exhibitions

For the first time in Denmark, we are featuring an exhibition of the Bloomsbury group, a powerful force within the cultural and intellectual circles of England in the early 1900s, known for their radical attitudes, anti-authoritarian outlook and a lifestyle that was considered transgressive by the social mores of the time.

DR’s (The Danish Broadcasting Corporation) curent season of Kunstnerkolonien (The Artist Colony in Hornbæk) with works by six prominent contemporary artists can be experienced on DR TV — and in person at The Nivaagaard Collection, presented alongside the museum’s own collection.

Visit the St. Katharina sculpture in the Station Garden at Nivå Station. She provides rest for birds and comfort for those in need, and connects with visitors, the garden's biodiversity and the area’s unique nature.
